Okay, let's forget about updating everyone on my life cuz too much stuff has gone on between my last entry and now to really do it justice, but here are some key notes--

-China, met wonderful new friends and saw amazing places
-Me and my roommates split and I'm on my own now in a comfortable, not quite party ready   place
-3 internships and another movie filmed and STILL no paid gigs

Whew, now to the main point.  A friend of mine noticed today that his name actually came up when he used the Google Blog search.  It got me interested in searching my own name and a few people came up (of most interest was the blog of this girl from Australia who mentions a hunky Jon Leong, which sadly wasn't me...or was it?).  I then looked up a buncha my friends and some of them do in fact have mentionings on the blog search as well.  This got me thnking of how I have not seemed to have a substantial impact on anyone's life to be noted in their blogs, that while others out there do something meaningful with their lives, whose names are now sketched into the stone wall that is the internet, I will remain forgotten and unknown, fading into obscurity and lost in bowels of history.......

then my friend mentioned the possibility of the blogger one day coming to kill him, which does make being forgotten sound pretty okay

P.S.  Final Fantasy Advent Children rocks like an Omni-Slash on steroids that was later genetically engineered from Jenova!

Still 24!

...anyways, at Universal Studios they have the clock from Back to the Future ON the courthouse (usually not there), and it was so sweet I took a picture and it's now my new phone's wallpaper!  Hopefully I can get a better picture later, as I was rushed to take a shot between two tour buses.

Also went on an ADVENTURE for sushi with Jenn, Jan, and Annie...which basically means I went to eat sushi with Jenn, Jan, and Annie.  Still, good times...good times.

Sent my 2 weeks notice in to one of my internships, and I plan on quitting another during my last week of the initial one, and so forth til I leave for NY in May, afterwhich I should have a good couple of weeks to myself to grow tired of Los Angeles and get me more excited for China in June.

Anyways, new "LOST" and comics tomorrow!  Yay!  And did someone say "Batman" posters?

P.S.  Long Beach Convention AWESOME!  Clone Wars Vol. II AWESOME!  Power going out 3 times last night because of wind...not so awesome.

Wow, September?  That's kinda crazy.

Anyways, I've been getting some heat to update this thing (thank you little cousins and friends alike! )  So for your reading pleasure,

*drumroll*

WHAT'S JON BEEN UP TO RECENTLY!!!!!!

-Worked on couple of movies.  One was a monster film called "Monster Mountain" (SO original) and was filmed up at Big Bear for a couple of weeks during a nasty storm, while the other was a thriller called "Marcus" for a couple of days at a creepy house with the REAL address # of 666).  I worked for free on both and overall they were okay and I met a lot of cool people and gained a lot of valuable experience, although Big Bear was frickin freezing and the film is probably never ever gonna be shown, and I almost would feel insulted if it did (yeah, THAT bad, although the monster was pretty cool, both costume and actor).  But at least I did get a nice 2 hour drive to myself going through the mountains to return the van, and some amazing views I cannot hope to describe.  The other film looked really good though and I can't wait to see it some time.  Both were low budget/independent films, so it may be awhile for either to be seen by the public.

-Halloween, and we had Trick or Treaters for the first time ever!  It was so exciting giving candy to little kids dressed up!  I suggest you try it if you haven't yet!

-Election Day, had a party that became very depressing as the election went on, for some would say "obvious" reasons, but let's not get into that.

-Went to Paris for Thanksgiving and ate some REALLY expensive food that honestly I could have done without.  I don't regret eating the food, but when a dinner costs $650 for 3 people for ONE meal, it makes a person go , doncha think?  At least I FINALLY got to go up the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Trium, and even took a nice walk throught he Louvre and Paris while listening to my Ipod (Nothing like looking at fine art and listening to "Back in Black" to make an awesome day).  The Louvre also had the added creepiness of having a robotic boy playing drums on the balcony of one of the side buildings outside, which many people at first mistook for a REAL boy and momentarily freaked out.  I would've taken a picture, but ran out of film through the Louvre.  Also did a nice sketch of the Winged Victory sculpture, which momentarily reminded me why I majored in Fine Arts...but only momentarily.

-Went home for Xmas and New Year's.  The usual stuff.

-My twin sister Janelle won 2nd Princess status in the "Queen Narcissus" Pageant in Hawaii (which supposedly is just this Western thing with a Chinese persona).  The awesome thing is that she gets to go to China for a 3 week trip with the rest of the court (4 princesses and 1 queen), and family members are allowed to go with!  So if any of you happen to be going to China in June...good for you!

-Finally getting out of the apt. and doing 3 internships! (2 twice a week, 1 once).  All require full days from me (9-7) and none are paying.  Kinda sucks, but once again valuable experience and cool friends keep me level headed.  Also it was starting to become eerily quiet around the apt. with only me around while my other roommates went to work.  As a bonus I've been reading some pretty interesting scripts, and you would be amazed at how many scripts there really are in the business, either waiting to be read or waiting to be shred (hey, that rhymed!).  Now if I could only get that "Batman Begins" script...

So those are the main things that have gone on in my life since September, with ofcourse little things going on inbetween that are hardly worth mentioning.  But SEE?  Isn't that nice to have so much to read?  It's like being in traffic, then suddenly having a huge gap to drive super fast through!

Well, that should last you guys for awhile.  Now stop bugging me!   See ya in half a year (if even THAT soon).
